I bought bulbs on clearance at the end of fall with good intentions to plant them. And well, life happened and I still haven’t planted them and thought I would, then it snowed. It has since stopped snowing and warmed up enough that hopefully tomorrow I will be able to plant all these bulbs so that they can grow this spring.
Then I bought a ton from a fundraiser my daughter did at school. So I need to show her how the pretty bulbs are actually flowers.
I was told by a friend, who was told by a local nursery owner, that you can plant flowers in the winter, and use a drill with a boring tool attached if needed.
Here’s hoping mother nature cooperates tomorrow. My luck, she’ll finally give us the snow I need for my other project… genealogy.
Are you experiencing unusually warm weather too?
Update: I got them planted today! Now let it snow!
